Jackson had his two week doctor appointment this morning.
He weighed in at 5 lbs. 15.5 oz. (10th percentile)
He is 19.75 inches long (25th percentile)
His head is 34.4 cm (20th percentile)
Why they didn't just round it up to an even 6 pounds, I don't know. His weight gain is good since he left the hospital two weeks ago today at a weight of 5 lbs. 5 oz.
He also got his heel pricked which he definitely did not like, but he was a pretty tough little hombre. He didn't cry nearly as bad as I thought, and he calmed down pretty quick after it was over.
The doctor said that even though he won't have his two month old shots yet, we can probably travel with him around Christmas time, going to the Green/Kellner family Christmas and to our parents' houses. We just have to bring plenty of hand sanitizer since his immune system won't be quite as strong as it should. And youngsters (that means you...Jason, Jagger, Johnny, and Eli!) spread germs more readily than adults, so they might not get to play with him this time.
