Going home

Allison has been given her discharge papers, and we are waiting on getting Jackson's soon. We brought the car seat up to the room for the nurse to inspect to make sure it looks alright. Jackson is dwarfed by the car seat.

Jackson's pediatrician, Dr. Halsell, said that we should schedule an appointment for him on Saturday to make sure he is making good progress weight-wise since he is less than six pounds. Another good thing is that Dr. Halsell's office has a lactation consultant on staff so she can help with breastfeeding if we need it.

Allison is going to feed here in a minute, then take a shower, then eat some lunch, then feed again, and then we are on our way home! Good thing we only live about five minutes from the hospital. :)
