It's been a while

Jackson got his two month old shots this past Tuesday. Allison said he was a good sport and didn't cry too much. His stats were:
Weight - 8 lbs. 8 oz. (5%)
Height - 22.75" (50%)
Head - 38.4 cm (25%)

So he is a skinny kid with an average height.

Allison's dad was recently in the hospital for heart problems. He had chest pains and went to the emergency room. Turns out he had an arrhythmia and a lot of blockage in his arteries. He went to Houston to see a specialist and he ended up having double bypass surgery. He also had an EP study done to check out his heart function after the bypass surgery to see if they could figure out the real reason for his arrhythmia. He has what is called SVT with aberrancy. Right now they are going to treat with medicine, but he will most likely have to have an ablazon at some point to permanently fix the problem. But he is recovering and doing well.

I was out of town this past week, and I will be going out of town the next few weeks as well. At least I get to come home on the weekends. Jackson did something Friday night that made my year (and it's only 15 days in). He was looking around with a blank expression on his face, but when he turned his head and saw me, he put on the biggest smile I have ever seen. It was awesome.

Now for some selected pictures (everything else is uploaded to Photobucket).

This was supposed to be his going home outfit from the hospital, but instead he wore it to church today. Now it fits!

Jackson getting excited for the Cowboys game today (not pictured is him crying after they got their butts kicked).
